Purpose
This module was developed to all content within any module to be moved from current status to archived status and vice versa in which to limit or extend what users are able to find on your site. This feature is often used by publishers offering paid content (whereas paid members can see archives, and public users can even see current content). This tool is extremely helpful for others, who occasionally want to houseclean content within the site, to control which content is more relevant based on time period.(Example: If records within any module become so old, that they do not offer any relevance, you can simply archive this range of records)
Description
Click on the Archive module within your Client Console. Select which module you would like to archive your records. Enter the dates that you would like to change for these records, and the Archive wizard will move all 'CURRENT' records into 'ARCHIVE' making them non-visible within the site, but keep the records within the database. To re-activate any record or group of record, simply change the dates and re-execute this tool. Additionally, you may go into any module, and select (Show Archive/Current Records/ALL) and within the Module View, it will list the records you are looking for. Not to worry, using this tool will never delete any of your records, and start and end dates can always be switched back.
Tips About This Module
NOTE: Records which are archived are still kept in the database, but are no longer seen within the site. At any time, you can easily change the status to bring certain date ranges of archived records back to current status.
