Purpose

This module was developed to capture all of the incoming submissions made to Information Request/Contact Forms, to allow review, reporting and export of all activity to this module.


Description

Contact/Info request is a tool that allows you to manage simple requests for information, that are able to be triaged (via email) to the correct recipient within your organization, to allow immediate response to your online clients. Additionally, it allows site visitors to submit information to you 'in order' to download or access information (Example: Such as downloading a Media Kit, White Papers, or to view an online demonstration of your software). This module is a way to track and report on incoming lead activity, and the Reporting tool allows you to search the archives of activity, and export data to re-format for either your internal needs, or the needs of your advertisers.

This reporting module typically offers a data export tool (to the right of the new button), which gives your team the control to export valuable leads, and audit them to ensure all have been responded to.


How To Use

This module is found within the Reporting tab of your Client Console, and works hand-in-hand with your Contact Form (or Info Request Form). Simply click on the module at any time to view the activity to this module. Typically you will already be made aware of incoming leads, 'as they come in', as emails can be sent for each submission to an address you define. Accessing this module from the Client Console will typically represent your need to search for old submissions, or to export ALL activity, in which to audit your company's follow up.

Tips About This Module

This reporting module has been modified to accept the IP Address of the submitting individual. The reason this is done, is for any user (or competitor) who elects to submit information which may be in conformance with the validated fields but is actually incorrect (whether bogus information has been entered...Example: 'John Doe, 1234 Main Street' or if it has been incorrectly entered.) This IP Address 'capture' allows you to peer into the real identify of these incoming submissions, so that you can see who is really on your site.
