Purpose
This module was developed to allow targeted email marketing of advertisements, content and features to your membership base. This module allows you to easily broadcast bulk emails to your specific member groups, including detailed delivery reporting. This reporting includes Bouncbacks, Opens, Unsubscribes and Click Throughs.
Description
This module allows you to target subscribers, advertisers and other groups that you commonly communicate with for free. Unlike the many services today that meter this service, email broadcast allow you to reach many at no charge.
Centralpoint's data import tool, used with the member module, allows you to easily import and group your members....which handshake with the email broadcast module. Having all modules centralized allows you to harmoniously utilize data managed in one area with outbound messaging.

How To Use
The email broadcast module is found within the Members section of your Client Console. This module, works in unison with the Members module....showing the groups or types of members for your site which you are able to send email to (by group).
Simply enter content for the body of your email (Full HTML and images are supported), fill out the subject line, return email address, select the group(s) that you would like to reach, and hit submit.
Once you have submitted the record, re-open and hit SEND, found at the bottom of the form. Your emails will be sent, rendering a live activity report of how many emails are being sent; and when finished a report on exactly which users recieved it.

Tips About This Module
Embedded scripts and images can be added within the body copy of your email in order to extend the amount of traffic reporting you are able to obtain from your outbound email campaigns. This will provide you with more detailed information regarding click throughs and responses for your advertisers.
Typically this module is used for communication between a portal owner and its members. Often, advertisers are invited to submit messages for you to send to your members 'in their behalf' as a paid advertising premium.
This module is often used in unison with the Contact Form or Info Request module, so that all incoming requests from the Email broadcast being sent can be triaged and stored within the database for activity reporting.
