Purpose

Podcasting was developed in response to site visitor demands to access audio and video within the iPod format from our clients. Centralpoint supports the Podcast 'format' so that audios and video files may be downloaded by visitors, and used within their iPod appliances and software.

Description

This module allows for Podcasts, and Podcast Items to be managed, including the upload of video and audio files in which users can access and download. This module allows support of distribution based on the member type to your site, and can represent a member benefit to be able to access these files from your site. NOTE: Podcasts are literally a format of any type of audio and video format, suggesting that events, speakers, and seminars may be converted to this format to make available to the widely growing population of iPod members.

How To Use

Podcasting is a module category all its own, allowing you to manage Podcasts, and their related files. Simply upload your podcasts, and they will be available within the Audience Types, Sites and member types that you designate.
