Purpose

This module can work with Centralpoint to extract and deliver activity and usability reports via email on a scheduled basis. It also works with databases outside of Centralpoint, giving you the ability to call to any database within your network, design a report against it, and schedule email delivery (daily, weekly or monthly) to any user who may need it.  

How To Use

The report builder will ask you what database connection you will want to use, if not Centralpoint. It will then provide you options to include or exclude various fields from your database connection within the report. A select statement can be customized within the module to further refine the sort, and presentation options of any record set. The Report Builder also provides you the ability to layout this grid view any way you want, via XML, within the tool. Once the data has been selected, and the layout guidelines have been established, you can either choose to include this data within the email (as HTML), or you may also choose to have an attached MS/Excel spreadsheet to the email being sent. Next, you can select 'who' will receive this report, and how often. Once you submit the record, the report will be delivered, per your settings on a recurring basis.
