Purpose
This module was developed to allow each site (Main Site, Audience Type, or Site) have its own record to manage global site information such as: Logo, Legal Terms, Meta Description, Meta Tag, (to assist site promotion, ensuring each page within that site is properly stamped with relevant meta information) and the Address and point of contact (webmaster). These values feed the 'Site Locator' tools, which allow you to search for sites within the portal by name, city, zip code, or region.....directing you to the right site, and creating dynamic maps to each location.
Description
This module allows each site (Main Site, Audience Type, or Site) have its own record to manage global site information such as: Logo, Legal Terms, Meta Description, Meta Tag, (to assist site promotion, ensuring each page within that site is properly stamped with relevant meta information) and the Address and point of contact (webmaster). These values feed the 'Site Locator' tools, which allow you to search for sites within the portal by name, city, zip code, or region.....directing you to the right site, and creating dynamic maps to each location.
These records are created automatically during the Site Wizard processes, but can be managed or edited at any time.
How To Use
This module is found within the Sites/Administration tab of your client console. Simply click on this module to see the existing site information records for your site. Although you can manually create a new record here, it is much easier to use the Site Wizard (found within the Sites/Administrator tab of your Client Console) to create a new site. When a new audience type or site is created, a site information will be deposited into this module for it which can be changed at a later date.
Tips About This Module
This module 'relates to' the particular Audience Type or Site. If you want to make a change to the address, region, logo or meta description of a site, simply select the site information record, and change your information. If you want ALL sites to share the same information, you can create one record and assign it to all sites.
There is a Site Locator tool available within Centralpoint which displays all of your audience types and sites, within a search-able tool, sorting by name, city, zip region or other. This locator tool not only allows users to find and link to the respective site, but also get a map (via Mapquest) on the driving directions to each site. Ideal for geographically disparate networks, and distributor sites.

Locator tools allow users to search for sites by Name, City, State, Zip, Region or other...
giving them a list of sites within your portal.
Each listing offers maps to their locations and links to their site. Users can be
re-directed to sites in their local region easily using this tool.
