Purpose
This module was developed for large enterprise installations who are interested in tracking the activity of their local administrators. This module allows the parent organization to report (by individual local site, or all) the exact activity of their site within the enterprise. This helps to determine who is using the technology, and more importantly who IS NOT using the technology....in an effort to build awareness and assist general usability.
Description
This module is only intended for larger enterprise portal installations. Centralpoint can be and is used within very broad organizations who have divisions, departments, dealers and representatives, which could be world wide in scope. Your Centralpoint portal has the ability to scale to act as parent and home to up to thousands of subsites, or portlets. These are what we refer to as Audience Types and Sites, and each one can have either one or multiple administrators. It is for this reason that this module exists....
This module empowers the parent organization to report (by individual local site, or all) the exact activity of their site within the enterprise. This helps to determine who is using the technology, and more importantly who IS NOT using the technology....in an effort to build awareness and assist general usability.
How To Use
This module is found with the Reporting tab of your Client Console. Simply click on reporting, and then click on Usability Reporting (if it is available within your site). From this page, you can elect to run Usability reporting on any one Audience Type or Site within the family of sites, or execute a report on ALL sites. This report may take some time to render, as it executes live, calculating the number of records, by month which have been submitted, and further reporting on WHO submitted these records WHEN within the site. This report will also show a percentage based usability report, which shows exactly who the largest contributor is, and descending toward the least active contributor.
