CLEVELAND, Oh. -- Oxcyon, a leading provider of enterprise content management and Portal solutions for Healthcare announced today that they have released their much anticipated Data Transfer module. This module compliments the entire Centralpoint module suite, by bringing robust data mapping and warehousing utilities to their Centralpoint users. This tool, allows for any data, from multiple and disparate databases to be centralized, and aggregated within the Centralpoint platform, empowering healthcare clients to take control of their many, remote databases and streamline them into a central-point.
This module support scheduled transfers, email notification, and even a fully functional data mapping utility, which allows non technologist to map (field by field) between the data source, nd the Centralpoint destination. The data transfer module's initial release supports SQL, Oracle, XML, TXT, CSV, Excel, and MS/Access, but there are already plans to release support of other databases. This tool further supports incremental updates based on conditional changes to the data, allowing for only certain fields or values to be changed on import.
