Samuel Keller -President & CEO
|
Sam is Oxcyon's Founder and CEO (Chief Envisioning Officer). He is a two time winner of the Weatherhead 100 award, successful entrepreneur, author of patents, and inventor of Centralpoint, Oxcyon's award winning application.
Prior to Oxcyon, he founded his first company, Kelltech, in 1992. By 1998, Kelltech grew to rank amongst the Top 100 Technology Firms in the US. Kelltech was sold to a division of GTCR in 1999. Sam had seen tremendous market demand for web development, but he knew first hand that the delivery model was wrong. Building solutions, one at a time, posed long term concerns for clients, and for Kelltech. With the proceeds of his first business sale, he formed Oxcyon in 2000, and set out to build an assembly line technology for what used to be a custom build process. This patented technology quickly proved to reduce cost, increases quality, and changed time to market from months to minutes. Oxcyon has grown from 15 modules available in 2000 to over 180 modules today. Oxcyon and Centralpoint's service oriented architecture is changing the way organizations manage their sites forever. Oxcyon has enjoyed early market adoption of Service Oriented CMS within Publishing, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Non Profit. |
